Forgot to say, the LISTDB MEMO is not avaialble from my host site
(registered but no physically present).  That shouldn't have an effect
on the operation of the search program, I wouldn't think, but is it
possible they are running a 1.8c version of the search program even
though the rest of it is 1.8d?  And that is why the "keyword index"
stuff mentioned in the LISTDB MEMO I got from peach.ease doesn't work?

I know it's not the old VM stuff, but some doesn't seem quite to jibe
with the latest LISTDB either.  douglas
