<annual rant>People will say that enhanced text is better because
text is so inexpressive, compared to oral speech, and that it's so
much harder to identify humor or irony, or express feeling, so we
need smileys and 60-point pink type. Shakespeare and Swift and
Orwell and McPhee wouldn't think so.</annual rant>
