Usually this indicates that a broken mailer out there somewhere is
forwarding a copy of the mailings back to the mailing list instead of
(or in addition to) delivering them locally. If you look at the
Received: headers of the rejected copy of the message it should be
possible to determine at what point the message starts looping back
to the mailing list, and there may be other clues as to what the
problem subscription is.
