I have had some complaints that we have some lists being 'spammed' by
messages from list members that recently subscribed to Plaxo.com
addressbook. Plaxo then contacts everyone in the subscribers Outlook
addressbook, including LISTSERVs, asking everyone to send in their contact
information. Is this a problem for other lists? What are you doing about
it?
The messages look like this:
This is the second Plaxo message you've received. Get
Plaxo to automatically handle these messages.
Principals,
I'm updating my address book. Please take a moment to update
your latest contact information. Your information is stored in my personal
address book and will not be shared with anyone else. Plaxo is free, if
you'd like to give it a try.
