Let me appologize if this issue has been posted before, but I did not
find it in a quick search of the list archives.

I'm currently running LISTSERV(R) version 1.8d. My users were content
with allowing all forms of attachments (APPLICATION/OCTET-STREAM) to
their lists until they were hit with some nasty viri a few weeks ago. I
have tried to allow just .pdf attachments with the "application/pdf
" option, but the listserv sees PDFs as octet-stream attachments. Is
there a listserv specific MIME type/work around for this issue, or do I
have to allow all binary attachments?

Sincerely,

Troy A Richards
