I assume you mean the 'List Activity Report' which reads from the list-level
changelog file. Most likely the list configuration (header) is set to
Change-Log= Yes, Monthly
This starts a new changelog each month. As documented, the 'List Activity
Report' reads only the current changelog file. I recommend a setting of
Change-Log= Yes, Yearly
This collects all data for the calendar year. You may still have the
wraparound problem for Dec/Jan but at least not every month. Note you can
restore this cross-month reporting by combining the listname.changelog-yyyymm
files in proper order into listname.changelog (the current file) if you have
direct access to the files on the server.
Even if you don't, you can GET the monthly files by email, edit them together
and PUT the resulting file back to the server by email. This is the old way
of editing List Message Archives and/or List Headers, back when dinosaurs were
still roaming the Earth (before the Ice Age). How about a show of hands for
those who still remember how to do this? ;-) (and no fair looking it up in
the manual)
>2) I don't know if this is an issue or a feature with v16.0 or not but I thought I'd ask. When selecting a mailing list from the "Select List" field from the Dashboard (or any other menu where you use "Select List"), the last bracketed initial range for the List names does not include the letter "Z".
I had to test this. You are right. Of course if you don't have a listname
starting with Z the letter(s) shown will be those of your last listname (in
alphabetic order) which is reasonable. However, there is a fix in the
updated/corrected forthcoming 'Level Set' release of 16.0. No, I dunno when
it will be released, but one can hope for Sep/Oct.
