"Pay no attention to that little man behind the curtain" - Wizard of Oz
That's just Eric complaining that he did a "SET LANGUAGE UCENG"
and it failed. He then does a "SET LANGUAGE AMENG". If that fails,
LISTSERV refuses to run - Eric isn't going to try to parse Kanji
messages. The reason for the warning is that IBM has stated that
AMENG is not guaranteed to be a mixed-case version of UCENG. While
the meaning of the message won't change, it is possible that the exact
wording may vary between the two. Eric has set UCENG as the LISTSERV
basic requirement. Since it appears that AMENG is currently just a
mixed-case copy of UCENG, he accepts it anyway. But all bets are off
if IBM changes the wording of a message that LISTSERV depends on.
