Revised LISTSERV forum <LSTSRV-L@DEARN> |
Preparing for some absence, I noticed what I am missing in LISTSERV.
I didn't want to get all the flood of mail from the many-many lists
I'm on, while I'm away. So - okay, I can SIGNOFF * (NETWIDE.
But then, when I come back, I have a heck of a lot of work to
do (and I have to keep a record of all the lists I'm on). So,
how about a SUSPEND? this will put my subscription in a list
in a SUSPENDed state - no mail sent, but subscription is there.
When I go - I do SUSPEND * (NETWIDE. When I come back -
RESUME * (NETWIDE and whoops - I'm on all the lists that
I was SUSPENDED on.
How'bout that? Seems like it could come very handy.
