Revised LISTSERV forum <LSTSRV-L@CEARN> |
You must never store files with 'LSVPUT (PUTC'. This command is used to
update the server with private LISTSERV program or data files, like for
instance the LSVCARDR I am sending to people who have errors 2012. You
must only use 'LSVPUT (PUT' for files to be made publicly available. I
suspect the true nature of your problem is that you have tabulated the
FILEID file, which is not possible because, for performance reasons, I
don't use XEDIT to search the files. Letting LISTSERV assign a fileid by
itself with 'LSVPUT (PUT' eliminates this problem completely.
