| :(((((" :-) ). However, it just occured to me that the username the mail
| software is using as origin for its complaints is not really relevant,
| what you really want to know is what site this is coming from. So I
| suggest one of the following instead:
|
| Subject: LSTOWN-L: delivery error from ucbeh.san.uc.edu
| LSTOWN-L: error report from ucbeh.san.uc.edu
| Delivery error from ucbeh.san.uc.edu on list LSTOWN-L
| Delivery error for LSTOWN-L from ucbeh.san.uc.edu
| ----|----|----|----|----|----|----|----|
| 10 20 30 40
|
| Or something similar. The key points are that both list name and failing
| hostname should be included, and the message should be reasonably clear
| for a novice list owner. I will implement #2 unless there are strong
| objections.

As the listowner of 30 lists who goes through literally hundreds of
error notices each week, I would find #2 *extremely* helpful. Thanks much,
Eric (and Dan and Joan)!
