I just thought I should drop a  short note to say that we've been getting
lots of applications for the technical writing position, and that several
of them  look very  good (especially  since I  discovered a  mailing list
decicated to technical writing with no less than 900 professional who all
obviously had some prior LISTSERV experience ;-)  ). So from now on it is
just a matter of time. We haven't selected a candidate yet, but we're not
worried  any longer  about  not  finding someone  with  both writing  and
LISTSERV skills.
