That's a MIME digest, which you enabled by unsubbing and resubbing :) In
1.8c, if LISTSERV determines that your mail program is MIME-aware, it
sets the MIME personal option for you.  What you need to do to go back
to regular digests is SET ANTHRO-L NOMIME .  The reason you didn't have
it before was probably because you subscribed under 1.8b or before.  Either
that or the mail program you used to subscribe originally wasn't MIME-aware.
