I know I asked this before, but what about using the ``job''
format for submitting those jobs with the put command? Would that work?
I know it is somewhat cumbersome to do so, but if it would work, it would
be a good way to ensure that you put only exactly what you wanted to, and
that nothing else would get added that was not appropriate.
