Renewal processing is sent to ALL subscribers, regardless of
distribution options, UNLESS you have specifically WAIVED their
processing e.g., for NETNEWS userids, or if _they_ have issued ANY
"SET list option" within the renewal period (which simply resets
their date for renewal procesing).
 
LISTSERV does not recognize holiday periods either, so if you
work at a university that has l-o-n-g holidays, someone might be
auto-unsubscribed (typically here at year-end).
