I am subscribed to many mailing lists - some of the are ListServ-run
- and I'm subscribed to the MIME Digest on at least two (including a
list I just set up - I use ListServ Lite 1.8c on Linux).

I use GroupWise 5.1.2 at work, where both of those digests go. I
also get another mime digest at that address
(from [log in to unmask]) - and here is my question:

The PGP-Users digest apparently generated by qmail:
Received: from joshua.rivertown.net ([204.141.41.5])
 by ivisoft.com (GroupWise SMTP/MIME daemon 4.1 v3)
 ; Mon, 4 May 98 12:54:04 EDT
Received: (qmail 5852 invoked by alias); 4 May 1998 16:26:02 -0000

shows up in GroupWise with the topics as the body:

pgp-users Digest 4 May 1998 16:26:02 -0000 Issue 302

Topics (messages 5261 through 5285):

Can PGP Still be Trusted?
5261 by: "Johannes Posel" <[log in to unmask]>
5263 by: [log in to unmask]
5266 by: "Johannes Posel" <[log in to unmask]>
...

and the messages as attachments. This is excellent - I get to see
what subject each msg has, so I can pick which ones I read.

The ListServ-generated digests come with the ENTIRE digest (including
topic-page) as an attached email - which when opened shows the
topics:

There are 14 messages totalling 473 lines in this issue.

Topics of the day:

  1. It Just Jams Up
  2. What are the different PMAIL versions?
  3. Pesky FOLD6125 problem solved! (v.3.0 b7)
...

but, each attached msg has not been re-run thru the parser, and so is
labeled PART.001, PART.002, etc. I know this could be considered a
GW shortcoming - but I also know I get other mime digests directly
(instead of appearing as a single attachment which then needs
re-parsing). Is there any way to modify this packaging behaviour?

Thanks!
