Hi Jeff,
I am a new list owner so take this advise with a grain of salt. I am a
subscriber on a list that uses TOPICS. Below is how Bill Gorman has set up
his header for canine-l. In the Default-Topics= section you can see how he
has deleted the OTHER topics by using the - in front of OTHER. This should
set everybodies initial TOPICS option to not include the -*'d topic. I
don't believe there is any way to prevent somebody from resetting their
topics section though, if they fshould happen to find out other topics are
available.
