I am creating a number of new listserv lists within our
     organization that will have approximately 50-75 email addresses
     per list.

     I will be adding the new subscriptions manually, and would like
     to avoid having any listserv-generated subscription notification
     message sent to the end users that I subscribe.

     Is the use of the QUIET command before the ADD command the best
     way to do this?
