I'm on a list like that (Hi Bob!). The dynamic you need to consider when
implementing a footer is the tendency of people to quote entire messages
when replying. This can occasionally create messages being distributed with
two or three copies of the footer in them.
Which is more painful: the unsub requests, or the multiple footers? It's up
to the listowner to decide. I do see that the unseen benefit of a small
footer with simple unsub instructions and the listowner's email would be
the reduced exasperation of conscientious listmembers who don't want to
post to the list, but don't have the info... ;)
