The PHILOSOP list is hosted at YORKVM1.  The LISTSERV there distributes
postings to AOL.COM users via the listserv@utoronto which then in-turn
distributes to [log in to unmask]
 
The actual bitnet nodes involved (via SHOW PATH) are
 
listserv@yorkvm1 -> @utorvm -> listserv@utoronto -> @utorvm ->
  -> listserv@ubvm
 
(Looks like utorvm gets a double "hit.
Also, when testing the listserv@utorvm, it responds from UTORONTO.)
 
Once listserv@UBVM gets it, it uses one (or more) of it's local batch
SMTPS to redistribute it:
 
 From UBVM(MAILER): * <.COM> UBVM - BSMTP S=SMTP_L,SMTPE,SMTPT,SMTP4,SMTP5,SMTP
 6 O=TKSSTEVE@UBVM G=SMTP@UBVM
 
Since aol.com is not the "real" receiving host, the mail is actually
delivered (exchanged) to Internet host mailgate.prod.aol.net which at
this moment IS responding to the SMTP port.
