I and others have asked for such an option in the past. It falls into the
category of tools to help owners manage the posts, and as you've seen over
the past few days these are not given a high priority by Eric. As Mary
Schweitzer noted sizelim will help some, but it isn't an ideal solution, as
some lists are research lists with long studies posted. And then there are
also the small attachments that slip through.
