Hello to all,
 
 I'm a graduate student and concentrating in Fiber Optics Communication
 Networks and its supporting technology. I've searched to find a list
 that discusses the topic of optical networking but was unsuccessful
 in finding one. I would like to ask if some educational LISTSERV site is
 willing to to host a new list on optical networking to be used by
 students, professors and those involved in the research of the new promising
 technology.
 
 I'm an experienced listowner managing three (3) other LISTSERV lists,
 so I will take full responsibility to run the new list.
 
 Optical networking seems to be the only technology for the future that
 can cope with the ever increasing demand for bandwidth and high speed
 communication. I strongly believe that such a list will be of great
 benefit to large number of students and professors shearing their
 experience. Considering that I would like this list to run on
 EDUCATIONAL site, the list will be strictly none commercial and no
 advertising will be allowed.
