Elizabeth, why don't you sign up for a gmail or other free email  
account, then
make it an owner of  your list? This way, you can try sending emails  
to your
list from the free account and see if the slowness can be replicated.  
If you
get a much faster response that way, its a good sign that bellsouth is
throttling back its incoming emails.
