Was there a response to the original question:

"My question to the lstown-l forum is:  Why are message senders only  
receiving one copy of their message (from one list or the other), when  
they should be receiving a copy from each list?"

I am being asked the same thing.  It would make sense and reduce network traffic, but it causes the senders to wonder if their message went out to the lists.  I may have missed this in the manual, but thus far I have gone through TNEF files, attachments and other things trying to track the missing postings down.
