You seem to be running Microsoft Exchange version 5. Outlook 97 (or 98)
connected to Exchange server (using the MAPI driver) uses its own process.
When you send to the listserv, it gets sent through the Internet Mail
Service (which appears in your headers).

Outlook has the ability to send rich text messages between internal users.
When you send rich messages externally, the gateway will convert to HTML.
I'm not 100% sure what LISTSERV will do if it receives a
multipart/alternative, HTML message, but I know its probably going to
confuse something.

What you need to do, is create an address book entry for your LISTSERV, and
make sure the "sent to recipient in Rich Text Format" is deselected.

The server administrator can set the Internet Mail Service to not send *any*
HTML mail externally, which might be easiest, if you have lots of users
using your LISTSERV.
