I think I am missing something here.

First:

> GET WIN98-L MAILTPL
You are not authorized to access file "WIN98-L MAILTPL".

Should I be doing this some other way?

Second:

> get busint-l mailtpl
File "list-L MAILTPL" is registered in LISTSERV's file catalog, but the physical
file is not present.

> get list-l wwwtpl
This server does not have any file by the name "list-L WWWTPL".

I don't know what these files (I used the actual names in the commands) are or
how to get access. Do they have to be set up first? Is there some explanation
in one of the manuals?

Some additional guidance would be most appreciated.

Tom

You are free to edit the listname.mailtpl and listname.wwwtpl files anyway you
like to get different effects, add links to other sites, and html pages of
whatever you like.

For one example of different style archive header pages, made only by
modifying the listname.mailtpl template file, compare these 2 pages:

http://peach.ease.lsoft.com/archives/lstown-l.html (default page & template)

http://peach.ease.lsoft.com/archives/win98-l.html (modified page & template)

If you want to you may GET WIN98-L MAILTPL to see the actual changes made and
use them as a guide to your own. This is only 1 example, there are many
others.
