Somebody on one of my lists has asked about forwarding items to
a commercial service.  Does anybody have any thoughts or comments on
this?  I'm not concerned about the legal side since so little law
has been decided.
    I'm assuming they are talking about general announcements that
are posted to the list (many forwarded from a variety of other
lists--will full citation and sourcing) and not messages between
individuals.
    I would appreciate any comments to get me thinking.
