How does LISTSERV "know" where in a FILELIST to place the comment lines:

* :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
*
* The GET/PUT authorization codes shown with each file entry describe
* who is authorized to GET or PUT the file:
*
*     ALL = Everybody
*     OWN = List owners
*
* :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

That is, LISTSERV seems to "want" to put them just before the first line
of FILELIST that starts without an asterisk (*). So, for example,
for a FILELIST which has some of its own files (i.e., not the
LOG files that are tacked onto the end of the FILELIST) in the list, _AND_
immediately before which I would like to insert these several format lines
*                             rec               last - change
* filename filetype GET PUT -fm lrecl nrecs date time File descriptio
* -------- --------   --- --- --- ----- -----   ----     ----   ---------------
showing what the various fields contain, I haven't been able to do, because
LISTSERV inserts the FAC comment between those format lines and the first
file definitions.

How do I do it? (Hope this is clear enough!)
Peter
