You don't really need to do #3, since #2 will prevent any new
subscribers. You might also set yourself as editor, then
Send=Editor,Hold. That way if anybody did try to 'sneak in' a post you
would have to approve it before it goes to the list.
Obviously, you should send a final post to everyone explaining the
hiatus.
One possible problem, with 10mos inactivity, is that some members email
addresses will no longer be valid but you will not have a good mechanism
to test this until you start posting again next year. Just some thoughts.
