What do you expect to happen, James?  And what's "too high," Nathan?
Both of those statements make it sound as if something wild may occur.
Isn't deciding where to set the daily threshold simply a matter of how
active the list is?  I left it at 50 for one of my lists (ADS-L, a very
quiet list) and upped it to 300 for another (WORDS-L, which was averaging
close to 200 messages a day for a while but is pretty quiet now).
