Patrick Fitzgerald's Mailserv server (http://advicom.net/fitzbin/listserv)
is caput.   The Mailserv perl script is available at
http://www.csicop.org/~fitz/www/mailserv/.  Is anyone currently running it,
or willing to try?  Does anyone know of an alternative?  I'm using 1.8c.
 The list is set to OPEN,CONFIRM, so forced subscribing is not an issue.

My subscribers, mostly non-computer professionals, found Mailserv extremely
useful.  Some of them have a difficult time sending e-mail commands.
