apparently you have forgotten the mail admin person who does
have to deal with bounces and follow them and clean them up.

lists dont just effect list owners and list subscribers.

PS:... any mention of a reply yet to the question of what
   the system requirements are regarding processes and memory
   for listserv on a Sparc machine?
