Thanks, Pete, that's what I suspected, the period by it's lonsesome
in col. 1 acts sort of like an eof flag.  Mike Ramundo also confirmed
my suspicion.
 
Something to watch out for if some digest subscribers complain their
digests get truncated.  Not the only possible cause but something to keep
in mind.
