For several years I've run a moderated list ([log in to unmask]).  Usually
this has run without any hitches.  All messages came to me first for
approval, always with the paragraph prepended explaining what was
going on.  All I usually needed to do was bounce or redirect the message
back to the list, and listserv duly removed the prepended message, and
distributed the approved message.

Recently this has stopped happening --- but only some of the time.  For
example, this morning there were six messages waiting for me to approve,
of which four did not have the prepended note.  Just now there were three,
and two did not.  I have not changed any settings whatsoever since the
list began, so I am not the culprit.  We did have a problem with the
listserv server (air conditioner broke down, servers started overheating,
etc), and perhaps that is where the problem resides.

If someone could tell me what might have been reset I may be able to get
our people to fix the problem with little difficulty.
