You could probably save a few microseconds by omitting the resource
summary. The significance to a user is that they see how much resources
they have used up. Some commands can take minutes of CPU time (in
particular database searches, if large amounts of data are retrieved).
The user may not be aware of it otherwise, attributing the slow response
time to network delays. It also shows the user what kind of machine the
server is running on. If you add //xyz JOB ECHO=NO, the summary will be
omitted. But I fail to see in what way the resource summary creates a
problem for the users. They don't have to read it.
