On the "user served out" error--never mind, I fixed it.  I seem to have
had the address two ways, one with a bitnet (@DOEVM) address only and
one with a gateway via VTVM2.CC.VT.EDU.  I've restored service to the
user and all is well.  Thanks anyway.
