I sent this message out a couple of weeks ago but I am not sure if it actually
made it to the list...
My problem is this: I am adding files to my list filelist. I send the command
GET LIBMASTR FILELIST to the listserver. It sends me the file back in 80
column format. Some of the file descriptions are longer than 80 columns and
are placed on a second line. When I send the file back to the listserver, it
dies without updating the list -- failing on the second line of the
descriptions. So I am having to resend the actual files with
the correct descriptions. Is there a way to fix this problem?
Also, when I send the list back to the listserver, it add some junk in a place
that I don't want it. Here is what it does:
* filename filetype GET PUT -fm lrecl nrecs date time File description
* -------- -------- --- --- --- ----- ----- -------- --------
----------------
*
* :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
*
* The GET/PUT authorization codes shown with each file entry describe
* who is authorized to GET or PUT the file:
*
* ALL = Everybody
* OWN = List owners
*
* :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Is there a way to keep my list filelist in this order?
Last questions... I added a LIBMASTR WELCOME file to the listserver. Is there
a way to modify the subject line that the listserver using when send out that
file. Currently, It is something like "Usage Guidelines for LIBMASTR".
