valid shorthand for the busy list-owner ;-)

If done interactively (bitnet messaging) then there is a difference.
W/O the MAIL prefix, notification to the owner is sent by messaging
which makes it "tough" to save the message. W/ MAIL, you get an e-mail
notification for filing. The MAIL prefix is also "nice" for other
commands that would have returned there output interactively e.g.,
DATA LIST
-- co-owner INFOSYS, TQM-L, CPARK-L, ERAPPA-L, JANITORS, LDBASE-L, et -L
[log in to unmask] "Dept. of Deja Vu Dept." +1 814 863 1843
