I have a very unusual mailing problem with our listserv. We think we isolated
the problem as being in my ISP's MTA. But I am not sure what interaction is
taking place since it only affects listserv and none of my other mail. And
I need to provide the ISP some guidance.
 
Here is the problem in brief. I can contact listserv (I can see this via the log
file), but nothing from listserv can be returned to me. This not only happens
with respect to my list, but to other listservs as well including lstownl-l
(The error for lstown-l is below). I have unsubscribed and then resubscribed
to the list, but my address bounces. None of my other mail does. We have set
up a work around on another machine; another POP server but we would like to
have my ISP run the POP account.
 
Any suggestions for correcting this error would be appreciated. We are running
1.8b AIX version for unix. This all began when we switched from 1.8a to the
1.8b version of AIX. Thanks for you help in advance
