It's not a command per se, but it's a keyword setting in the header of
your control file.  You have to set Subscription= Open,Confirm
 
I presume you know how to update your control file header by sending
GET listname LIST (HEADER NOL PW=XXXXXXXX
then edit the file, then send it back (checking your password).
And when you PUT it back, DON'T have your sig file turned on, otherwise
you'll wipe out all of your subscriptions!

It would have stopped SLCSQUARED only after his postmaster blocked his
account.  If another spammer tries something, they might reply to your
CONFIRM and resend their spam, and then -- there you are.  Spammed.
 
I like the set-up of having Send= Editor and
Editor=listowner@address,(listname) .  Because of this arrangement,
SLCSQUAREDs spam went to me instead of my list, and I was alerted in time
enough to put in a Filter to block him and foil his next step.
