my 0.02 is THANKS for AUTODELETE !!!!!!!!!
 
this site supports 100+ lists, all sizes and activities.  While autodelete
was turned off on ONE small ( <200 members ) but active list here,
on two consecutive weekends, node problems caused error messages for that
list to suck up 80+% of system spool space before someone happened to
sign on, hold the list and delete messages.  I now REQUIRE autodelete on
most lists !            -mike
