As I don't know your list, haven't checked your header, but as I understand
no spaces are allowed. If in doubt, use separate Owner= lines in
your header. Takes more space, but much easier to do correctly and
easier to make quike, temporary, changes. I keep three or four
variations of our list header lying around that I can pop in at any
time.

Have you talked to Jim Gerland <[log in to unmask]> at UBVM?
If not, do so. If you don't already have a filelist set up he has to
do it. Some things to think of also are, do you have a list password
and is it being used properly? How are the FACs for the filelist set.
If Jim sets them up as AUT for the PUT authorization, which is how
our list is, you can try variations on the owner definition until
your fingers wear out, but you won't be able to do anything with the
filelist as your address has to be in the definition of AUT like
*+ AUT=userid@node My Name

That is not in the general list header, it's part of the filelist,
and Jim has to set it up initially. Once it is set up, though, you
can change the FACs yourself when you get and put the filelist.
And getting back to passwords, do you use the list password, or
your personal password? I've never used the list password for
our list, only the personal. Finally, to go back to something I
mentioned earlier, do you *have* a filelist, or are you trying to start
one? You can have notebooks without a filelist. Our list was three
years old, with three years of notebooks, before it had a filelist.
The filelist was started by me (and, of course, Jim Gerland) when
I became the secondary listowner.

Finally, if you're at UBVM, ask Jim Gerland; he knows and *will* help.
