I own a new list at ASUVM which I manage from CIBNOR (non-bitnet)
in Mexico. I've noticed that commands sent to listserv are
responded to immediately, but messages to the list can take up to
24 hours to arrive. The headers indicate that messages to the list
are routed through Princeton, whereas messages from listserv are
direct. In other words, messages from listserv@ASUVM are direct to
me at CIBNOR, but messages from EST-L@ASUVM go via Princeton where
they seem to get held up.

List messages from other Bitnet sites such as Cuny are not routed
through Princeton, and they arrive almost immediately. Can someone
help me to understand this, and perhaps tell me if there is a
solution?

Thanks...
