There's probably a general answer to your question, but I'm not sure
what it is.  However...

I see you're using Eudora.  You can turn off line-wrapping in
individual messageas by clicking on the icon at the top of the
message to be sent that loooks like a piece of paper with an arrow
that starts out on the right side of the piece of paper, then takes a
u-turn and ends up pointing to the left.  (Hopefully this is accurate
for the particular version of Eudora that you're using.)
