Due to some recent "problems", I turned on the notification attribute in the
header so I could see who subscribes and when (and who leaves).  This has
been working as far as I could see.

However, we had a subscriber pop in from HOTMAIL (and cause some big time
problems) and I did not receive any notification when they joined the list.

I know folks have talked about various issues with HOTMAIL subscribers, but
I haven't seen anything addressing this.  It seems to me that notifications
should come to me no matter what domain a person is subscribing from .....
unless there is a way to circumvent LISTSERV's normal procedures.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
