This is a "hmmm" type question.  Why does "whois" say there is no
match for  listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu or for the IP 128.205.7.35 ?

nslookup says it is there and I never have any problems with the address
from here (well, every once in a while, but not for a long time).

Got a subscriber who can't do anything as her system keeps sending back to
her errors, [log in to unmask] unknown host/domain.

Her computer folk are at a loss as to why this happens.  I have suggested
to her that perhaps a "connection refused" (she always sends her stuff at
8 am her time which is 10 am Buffalo time) is being misinterpreted as
unknown host/domain.

I am obviously grasping at straws as I do not know.  Any suggestions?
