The latter.  I think what has been mentioned is Allan Schwartz's new
"Managing Mailing Lists" from O'Reilly.  Unfortunately as far as LISTSERV
is concerned it a) only discusses LISTSERV Lite and b) does not incorporate
quite a number of corrections that I sent to his editor prior to the
final release.  I wish I still had a copy of my markup :(
