I am the owner of LACTACID mailing list.

Someone forged the address [log in to unmask] and sent a
spam. As any email to lactacid-request is forwarded to the owner, I got a
large number of error delivery messages.

A more serious question is
Q: does it mean that a forger can forge my personal email address and use
my SEND=OWNER mailing list to distribute his/her junk mail ?

Is there a mechanism to prevent this ?
