Perhaps the next update to LISTSERV could include notifying owners when
they have a subscriber who has subscribed to an unusually large number of
lists (say more than 20)?

Alas, I find I haven't enough free time to participate in all the
productive lists that I'd like to.  Given the success of LISTSERV's spam
filters (and I hope RPI upgrades their software soon so that I can stop
receiving copies of every spam from MICRO-L :-) SPAM-L is not a list that
makes my heart go pitty pat :)
