The Reply-To keyword seems to interact with others. Some mail tools pick
up different lines from the header (experimentally determined by me, not
based on a published spec), so I use these settings:
- Reply-to= List,Respect
- Sender= none
- Default-Options= IETFhdr
No other combination worked for me, but others may have different experiences.
Without IETFhdr, reply and reply-to-all do not behave consistently.
As shown, a normal "reply" will go to the sender, not the list. This was
not intuitive for me, but it works that way due to Respect.
Replying to the list seems to generate (at least on some lists) flame
wars about "you should not have sent that" and the more hurtful "oops,
I intended that insult to be private".
