Melvin, Thanks for the great leads, and for the explicit instructions on
how to follow them up.  I shall let you know the result (hopefully with an
announcement that the list is coming up somewhere).  I had tried inquiries
to "POSTMASTER@<domain.name>" for several of the sites you suggested, with
no response at all.  Writing the listowners makes much more sense.
